Tradition with today's comforts

A traditional Skopelos kalivi that has been renovated and enlarged.

 The original stone building was constructed nearly 100 years ago and comprises living/room kitchen and bathroom downstairs and en-suite bedroom upstairs. The bed is built in the traditional Skopelitian way and there is also a working traditional fireplace as well as a traditional open ceiling. The bedroom is air conditioned

 A door from the bedroom leads to a private balcony and on to a very private terrace with views across the Aegean – On a clear day you can see Mt Athos from here – and inland across olive groves to the forests of Delphi.

 Attached to the main house, but completely separate is an en-suite guest bedroom.

 A walled courtyard provides a sheltered entertaining area, while on the seaward side of the house is a private and walled pool area.

 There is a large space under the pool area the present owner had earmarked for development in the future. Here could be built a guest annex comprising bed/living room kitchen and bathroom. This would be private and have its own wonderful views across the Aegean.
